The leaf and lawn vacuum/shredder ALTO EP-520 PTO is made for municipal companies to clear parks, squares and roads of litter. It collects cut grass, leaves, thin branches, cones, acorns, plastic boxes and bottles etc. into a trailer. The vacuum can easily be connected to the cutting deck of a tractor, to a suction nozzle/brush or to a hand nozzle. If you want to collect leaves from a windrow or a pile, a hand nozzle can be attached to the end of the suction pipe. The hand nozzle has two wheels, which makes it easier to handle.
Our leaf vacuum is easy to hitch behind a tractor, because it is attached to the drawbar of the trailer. The hand nozzle and hose are attached to the fenders with supports. The leaf vacuum is driven through a cardan shaft from the tractor's power take-off. A cardan shaft equipped with a freewheel clutch must be used, and a wide-angle cardan shaft is also required.
The vacuum can be operated with a tractor whose PTO rated power does not exceed 14 kW (18 hp). The PTO speed must be 540 rpm.
